The Department of Permit Enforcement ensures the safety and security of patrons, employees and facilities in Chicago’s parks. The Department ensures police services are delivered to park properties and advises District administration on law enforcement-related issues. In addition, the Department coordinates security for events held on District property with the Chicago Police Department, Soldier Field management, Museums in the Park, and the Office of Emergency Management and Communications.
