UPDATE [3/13/24]: Winnemac Park Park Improvements
Construction fencing is expected to go up in mid-June as the Winnemac Turf Field project project gets underway, and goes out to bid in early April.
The Park District anticipates substantial competition by November 2024, with the project finished by the end of 2024.
Chicago Park District has been in communication with Amundsen administrative and athletic staff as well as the 40th Ward Alderperson's office on the timeline for the project, particularly regarding construction fencing and security needs throughout the duration of the construction period.
