The Chicago Park District encourages minority and woman owned businesses to submit bids and proposals to provide goods and services to the Park District. The Park District’s utilization goals for our contracts are 25% for MBE’s and 5% for WBE’s. Potential vendors are encouraged to review our list of MBE and WBE certifying agencies and assist agencies.
MBE/WBE Compliance Tracking
The Chicago Park District provides the CPD MBE/WBE Compliance Tracking System to streamline and automate vendor reporting requirements. The system is accessible to all firms doing business with the Chicago Park District and includes the following key features:
- Automated communication with contractors via email regarding compliance issues
- Submission of contractors’ utilization reports online with automated tracking of contract goals and participation
- Automatic verification of subcontractor payments
- Elimination of paper-based reporting
