Description

Using Viewpoints to Hone Your Storytelling Performance

Viewpoints is an acting technique that helps you understand how to use your voice and your physicality to enhance your storytelling and presentation skills. In this workshop we will delve into the five vocal viewpoints that voice actors use to narrate stories and practice how you can deploy them for your performances.

This session will include examples of how to create and differentiate characters from you as narrator, and how to use gestures to embody performance. Through play and practice, you will hone not only your voice but your physical storytelling.

Join us for a fun-filled, playful, interactive workshop that will help you become a more complete storyteller.

Bring a snack and a story you have written or use provided material.

This workshop is provided by Visiting Artist Willa J.Taylor.
