Fat Tuesdays is a reading series exploring stories by or about fat creatives, featuring work from playwrights all over the country. From February 13th - March 19th these staged readings will be presented by Chicagoans to interrogate and celebrate what it means to live in a body. Tiny Thin Woman Inside: explores the relationship women have with their bodies, media representations of weight loss, queer dating while fat, and general anxiety about the violence inherent in trying to fit into a societal norm of size.

This event takes place at the North Lakeside Cultural Center, formerly known as the Gunder Mansion; located just north of the Berger Fieldhouse within Berger Park.
