The Chicago Park District is offering Winter Break Camps at various parks across the city when school is out for winter break. Winter Break Camps give children an opportunity to spend the day having fun and learning with others their own age in a fun and supervised environment. Youth will participate in recreational activities, arts and crafts, sports and other engaging activities.

Participants in our Winter Break Camps will stay active and engaged this winter with hours of entertaining park programming that cover a wide range of recreational and educational activities. In addition to our traditional Winter Break Camps, we are also offering Sports Camps and Girls Play Camps. In Sports Camp, children will learn the basic skills of a number of sports, with a concentration on exercise, sportsmanship, and friendly competition. Sports and activities commonly covered in camp include basketball, biking, fitness, floor hockey, gymnastics, in-line skating, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Our Girls Play Camps offer girls an opportunity to engage in sports, arts and crafts and fun. Patrons are invited to register today.
